Stainless Steel Ball and socket articulated arm, designed to hold securely objects and puppets in the air.
It’s precise joints allows the arm be repositionated under controlled tiny increments as stop motion animation requires. The joints can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the M4 screws in order to control the amount of friction in the balls to allow more holding power or easier movement for the animator.
This rig is a robust tool ready to withstand the intensive use at any animation studio. It comes assembled, and we check every product before shipping, making sure the rig is complete.
The features:
-holes in the steel base to secure the rig to any wooden surface
-square rig tip measuring 3,96mm to connect square tubbes of 4.76mm
-threaded M3 hole at the tip to screw in objects or puppets.
-balls are CNC machined from one piece rod, there is no soldering or glue involved, making the rig super sturdy and durable.
